This is a good and beautiful book in every way: great topic and messages, wonderful writing, fascinating educational value, and fantastic illustrations. Readers learn much about Myanmar and the Burmese Jungle in this true, moving story of a man and his elephant as they complete a daring rescue of 53 elephants and 200 refugees during World War 2.
