Brown Sunshine of Sawdust Valley
My children and I have never been disappointed with a Marguerite Henry book, including Brown Sunshine of Sawdust Valley—the last book she wrote. Molly Moore desperately wants a beautiful racing horse. When her father buys an old mare instead, Molly is disappointed. However, things turn out differently than expected. While this is not my favorite of all of Henry’s books, this book is a great little story.
