The Disney Fairies books are just the kind of simple books kids like to read for fun. They include illustrations to support the text and would greatly entertain a young reader. They are not overly educational books, but they are enjoyable books to read for pleasure. Positive friendships are modeled, and readers can see the characters navigate challenges in a way that strengthens friendships.

Note that while this series is full of magic, it is light-hearted and not at all dark or evil.
