Five Little Peppers and How They Grew (Classic Starts)
I am not a fan of abridged classics for adults, but I highly recommend many of the Classic Starts series for younger readers. My children have loved reading them, and they are wholesome, classic stories that will prepare and excite readers for reading the full versions one day. This abridged version of Five Little Peppers and How They Grew retains much of the charm of the original book and features good writing. This is a fantastic story of an upright, strongly united family that offers an invaluable look into the past.
