Into the Uncut Grass

Review:

Into the Uncut Grass is a short and sweet book about a little boy who thinks the rules and chores his mother gives him are getting in the way of his freedom. One day, he sets off on an adventure with his stuffed bear, Walter, and learns lessons that will change his perspective and show him that his mother just wants what is best for him. The plot of this story may be more interesting to children on a lower reading level than the writing actually is, so it could work well as a read aloud for younger children.
