Review:

This well-researched and well-written book explores the life and works of an extraordinary man whose faith-based readers impacted millions of Americans over more than a hundred year period. It is difficult reading, but well worth the time and effort for anyone interested in learning more about the history of education in America or an amazing and inspiring man. I suggest this book for adults or for teenagers who have been reading challenging good and beautiful books for quite a while.
