Johanna Spyri, author of Heidi, is a very talented writer. Moni the Goat Boy is a fun short story, written with beautiful language, that promotes honesty. I highly recommend any of Johanna Spyri’s books or short stories. They can be found for free on Gutenberg.com. This short story is a great way to expose Johanna Spyri’s writing to boys who do not want to read Heidi .
