Ostriches by Herbert Zim is a detailed look at ostriches and other birds in the ostrich family. I found it to be very interesting and funny! It is a quick, enjoyable read that would be useful for a book report or school project. Note: This book mentions the earth being hundreds of millions of years old. It also mentions ostriches mating, but it does not go into any detail.
