Review:

This is a great story to share with children about a different culture and time period. An old, kind lady named Babushka paints beautiful Easter eggs for a big contest in Moscow. Babushka befriends and nurses a wounded goose, and by accident the goose destroys all of Babushka’s eggs. This story has a beautiful message of kindness. My eight-year-old daughter loved the story and could retell it six months after hearing it because the story touched her heart. The writing is fantastic, and the illustrations are unique.
