Review:

This biography on Sebastian Bach is an informative and delightful read! Whether done as a read-aloud or a personal read, children should enjoy this interesting and uplifting story. I love the gentle, optimistic writing of the author as well as the details included, the knowledge gained about the time period, and the elevated vocabulary. This is the only book in the series I have read all the way through, but almost all of them are written by the same authors. The books are available on Amazon.com or on zeezok.com. Zeezok also offers a fantastic music appreciation program that goes along with these books. Mozart, The Wonder Boy; Ludwig Beethoven and the Chiming Tower Bells; Joseph Haydn, The Merry Little Peasant; The Young Brahms; Franz Schubert and His Merry Friends; Frederick Chopin, The Early Years; Frederick Chopin, The Later Years; Stephen Foster and His Little Dog Tray; Edward MacDowell and His Cabin in the Pines; Handel at the Court of Kings; Robert Schumann and Mascot Ziff; Peter Tchaikovsky and the Nutcracker Ballet; The Story of Peter Tchaikovsky; Paganini, Master of Strings; Adventures of Richard Wagner.
