Review:

This is another wonderful forgotten classic republished by Lamplighter Publishing. The preface reads: “Journey with a poor boy who is honored for his hard work and honesty. Just when things are going well, misfortune invades his life . . . Young in heart will applaud when they see how love triumphs over fear.” The writing and story are both beautiful, but some people may find it less engaging than other books.
