Review:

In The Hall of Doors: The Dragon’s Hoard by Rebecca Gilleland, we meet a brother and sister who take shelter in their family’s barn during a rainstorm. Inside, they find a small door they have never seen before and decide to open and explore behind it. Upon doing so, they are transported to another realm where they are faced with danger and adventure, having to work together to solve a riddle in order to return home. This would be a great book for younger readers interested in the fantasy genre, as it’s a short book with simple writing, but full of wonderful sensory language.
