Review:

Ella-May is a slave by day and a listener by night. She and her friends wait outside the windows of their master’s house for any information they can catch, hoping to one day hear their daydreams spoken aloud. I loved every second of this heartbreaking yet hopeful book; it opened my eyes and touched my heart in such a profound way!
