A tall fence and a country full of contention divided the town where Clover lived. But everyday a little girl, Annie, would sit on top of that fence, looking at the world and seeing only beauty. With courage and curiosity, Clover joins Annie on top of the fence. I cannot praise this book enough! It is simple and elegant literature with a deep and profound meaning, making it understandable and moving for all ages.
