By Joyce Dunbar
Picture Books
Review:

Smudge is desperately hoping for a baby sister or brother, but it’s hard to be patient when everyone tells him to wait until spring. During the following seasons, Smudge tries to distract himself by creating little rabbits out of mud and snow, but they can’t play with him like a little sibling could. Will Smudge learn to be patient for spring? And will he get what he is hoping for?
