Review:

This is a well-written and interesting historical fiction story. Henk, a young Jewish boy, is taken to a farm in the country during WWII. His parents have to flee, and the farmer and his wife raise Henk as their own child. After the war, Henk’s real parents show up, but Henk does not remember them or even recall that he had other parents. This sweet story is treated well for the age group, and I found nothing objectionable in the book.
