A Cup of Cold Water
This book tells the true story of the faithful, courageous British nurse Edith Cavell during World War I. Caught in the turmoil of the war while working in Belgium, Edith shows tremendous faith, courage, and selflessness as she helps others, even though she is surrounded by spies. The first half of the book is a little slower paced, but beautifully written. The second half is much more engaging.
