A Place for Peter
A Place for Peter is the sequel to Mountain Born, but either of the books can be read as a stand-alone. This book continues the story of Peter, who is now a teenager, as he grows up and learns about service, responsibility, and courage. With his mother away helping a sick relative, Peter struggles to earn his father’s trust and help care for the farm. This book is full of beautiful descriptions and lessons. As this book is about the coming of age of a teenage boy, it may be enjoyed more by children 10 and older.
