Review:

This is one of those books that you don’t want to just check out from the library but that you want to own! The detailed, gorgeous, inspiring illustrations are the kind that children can study and delight in over and over again. The official description reads, “Benjamin and Anna love staying with their cousin Robin in his house near the forest. In the autumn, Robin takes them to see his favorite tree—a giant oak that is 300 years old. The children build a den under the oak tree’s giant branches and watch the squirrels hide acorns in its wide trunk.” This is a great book to inspire love of books and love of nature.
