Amazing Grace in the Life of William Wilberforce

Review:

This short biography (76 pages) gives a glimpse into the life of one of my favorite historical figures—William Wilberforce. In fact, I am quite in awe of this man and his story, and I am amazed that more people are not aware of him. This book is very well written and inspiring, but an elevated vocabulary makes the book more challenging for young readers. For a longer biography on Wilberforce, I suggest Eric Metaxas’ book Amazing Grace: William Wilberforce and the Heroic Campaign to End Slavery.
