This short book is simply written, but it held my attention until the end. It tells the true story of Michaela who lived in an orphanage in Sierra Leone. She saw a photograph of a ballerina when she was just a toddler. She decided right then that she wanted to be a ballerina herself. After being adopted in the United States, her new mother learned of her dream, and Michaela eventually became a famous ballerina.
