Review:

In Bandana Acres by Kathy J. Perry, we meet a brown haired young girl named Maddie and all of the animals who live on her farm. They have sweet, gentle adventures reminiscent of Winnie the Pooh books. Maddie is a wonderful example of kindness, love, gentleness, and compassion towards animals. These books deliver inspiring messages about courage and the value of friendship, and conclude with a delightful section that prompts readers to ask thought-provoking questions. The gentle watercolor illustrations add to its charm. These books are a quick read but also provide a beautifully uplifting and enjoyable experience.
