Review:

This wonderful Newbery Honor novel is out of print but worth finding if you can. The plot is engaging, and the writing has very high literary, moral, and educational value. In the tenth century, two Viking twins shipwreck on the Scottish coast. When one of the twins finds himself in the hands of enemies, a series of adventures are set in motion. This wholesome book contains messages about faith, Christianity, forgiveness, mercy, loyalty, and strong family bonds.
