Blitz

Review:

When Bob Rogers first saw Blitz, his heart sank. Sye’s old mare had been fast, and nobody could beat Frank, but Bob shook his head when he looked over the clean, strong lines of Blitz’s legs and body. He knew horseflesh well, and, to his reckoning, Blitz spelled speed!

The firemen’s dash to the station is always an event in the town of Drumlin, and no one enjoys it more than Blitz. Racing to each fire and getting there first fills his heart with excitement and satisfaction. One event brings his days as a fire horse to an end, though, and sends him through many unexpected hardships and joys.

The story of Blitz is one of heroism and perseverance that will inspire readers of all ages.
