This is another great book in Kenneth Thomasma’s series of books about Native American children. Lost in a blinding snowstorm, two brave girls join together to survive: a Native American girl and a handcart pioneer girl from Denmark. This story is engaging, and contains wonderful messages and has high educational value. My 10-year-old daughter and I read this book together and loved it.
