Review:

During the Civil War, ten-year-old Tommy and his sister are used to seeing wounded soldiers arrive in their town to be treated at the church, which had been turned into a hospital. But one mysterious soldier in particular catches Tommy’s attention, and Tommy will soon be faced with a difficult decision.

This book offers children a fun way to learn about history. I like that faith in God is woven into the book. I do not recommend all books by this author.
