Grace Notes Series
This is a cute little series about a group of four friends who love to play music together as the Grace Notes string quartet and do secret service for others as The Good Deed Crew. I found the writing to be less than exemplary at times, but overall the characters are loveable and show good examples of selflessness, humility, friendship, and appreciating family. I loved how adults were made out as positive role models and how the children include their parents and grandparents in their adventures. I also thought it was fun that the main characters are homeschooled!
Note: occasionally the children in the stories tell small lies to keep the good deeds that they are doing anonymous, because they don’t want to get attention or praise for doing the good deeds.
