Horse Diaries (SERIES) by Catherine Hapka & Ruth Sanderson

Horse Diaries

By Catherine Hapka & Ruth Sanderson
Level 4
Review:

I believe young girls who like horses will enjoy this book. It is a wholesome and gentle story that takes place in Iceland in AD 1000. There are several books in this series that do not need to go in any specific order. They all teach about horses and historical time periods. Please be aware that I only reviewed this first book (Elska) and skimmed through a few others: Elska, Bell’s Star, Koda, Maestoso Petra, Golden Sun, Risky Chance, Tennessee Rose, Jingle Bell, Cinders, Calvino. The books Yatimah, Black Cloud, Luna, and Darcy are not recommended because of some violence that is overly descriptive for the age level and lying made to look acceptable.
