This is a wonderful story about a stray dog who finds a permanent home. Meindert DeJong is a brilliant author who published wholesome books in the mid-1900s. Children should love this interesting and beautifully written story. Note: The A word is used in this book, but we have decided that it was not meant to be profanity. But some may consider it so.
