Review:

I loved The Golden Hawks of Genghis Kahn so much that I wanted to read more by the author, Rita Ritchie. Ice Falcon is completely out of print and mainly unavailable. The adventurous story keeps you reading. I love that it is packed with educational value. It has some good messages but is mainly just a wholesome, historical fiction adventure that features excellent writing. Parents should be aware that the main character comes across a frozen dead man in the ice. There are also some references to the Vikings’ belief in demon-like spirits that roam some mountains.
