In Their Own Words
This series has low literary value (mainly simple sentences and no challenging vocabulary) but extremely high educational value. The books feature large print and black-and-white photos and illustrations. They are written in a way that should hold the interest of most children. Some books in this series contain profanity or taking God’s name in vain and are not recommended: Thomas Edison. Those that we have reviewed and recommend are: Lewis and Clark.
