Review:

This Newbery Medal-winning biography of writer Louisa May Alcott is one of my 12-year-old daughter’s favorite books. I strongly suggest reading one or two of Alcott’s books before reading this biography—you will appreciate the biography more. This interesting and inspiring book is a well written, challenging read that is well worth the time.
