Review:

This book is such a treasure! James Herriot tells eight sweet and gentle animal stories from his experiences as a vet in the English country side. The illustrations are lovely and while the stories are not fast paced, the writing is enjoyable and engaging. I loved the messages of appreciating nature, treating animals and people with kindness, and finding joy in even the smallest things in life.
