I have studied Joan of Arc in depth, and I felt this book was a fair and truthful portrayal of her life and portrays her in a great light. The writing was nice, and the book contains some interesting insights into the time period as well as many illustrations. If you are looking for a book on Joan of Arc that reads more like a narrative, I suggest Joan of Arc: Warrior Saint by Jay Williams. Both books are great.
