In the book Frozen, Abigail likes to read about other places and dream about visiting there, so when her parents surprise her with a trip to Alaska in the winter, she is very excited. While visiting Alaska, a little boy runs away into the woods. Abigail and her new friend Milo run after him to help, and they all get lost. The story is about how they survive the night in the Alaskan wilderness using the survival skills she learned in books. It does contain a few typos and isn’t of the highest literary value, but it contains some fun facts about Alaska and survival skills and is a fun, quick read. Note: a boy briefly mentions making a wish on his origami crane and thinking the wish came true because of it.
