Little Pear

By Eleanor Frances Lattimore
Level 4
Review:

Little Pear is a kind and curious boy who lives in a small village in China. As you follow his funny, wholesome adventures, you learn much about life in the past in China. Strong, loving families are portrayed and attitudes are respectful. Although there is not a huge emphasis on moral lessons, there are good messages. The books are charming and should be enjoyed by both boys and girls. I have not read the sequel, Little Pear and His Friends.
