Review:

The illustrations alone make this a book worth getting; I absolutely love the illustrations. The story is also sweet. This one comes highly recommended by me. I also liked Hazel and Clover’s Great Escape by the same author.

Books that score high in literary value include exceptional writing, use of literary devices, and a rich vocabulary. All books on The Good and the Beautiful Book List are well-written, but some have a higher literary value than others.
