This short book (28 pages) tells the story of a young Russian Jewish immigrant, Molly, who is teased when she comes to America because she talks and dresses differently than the other kids. When Molly’s teacher asks each student to make a Thanksgiving pilgrim, Molly does not even know what Thanksgiving is. But it is Molly, in the end, who teaches her class a sweet lesson about the true meaning of Thanksgiving.
