This inspiring book is based on the wonderful life of Wangari Maathai. She grew up in the beautiful, thriving country of Kenya, but after spending five years in America she came back to find the streams dried up, the people malnourished, and the trees completely gone. This book tells the very enlightening and fun story of how Wangari chose to make a difference.
