Review:

Sarah, Plain and Tall is a worthy Newbery Medal-winning book and children’s literature classic. Through skilled writing, readers are transported into a heartwarming story during a more simple time on the plains during the nineteenth-century. Valuable lessons are taught and high character is displayed. This book would be great as a family read-aloud. Four more books follow on the story, although they all can work as stand-alone books.

Books in this series we have reviewed and recommend: Sarah, Plain and Tall, Skylark, Caleb’s Story, More Perfect Than the Moon, and Grandfather’s Dance.
