Seaman—The Dog Who Explored the West With Lewis & Clark

By Gail Langer Karwoski

Review:

I was hesitant to read a book centered around a dog, but it was a fantastic book. It was approached in a way that will appeal to children and bring the journey of Meriwether Lewis and William Clark to life. It held my attention to the end, and I learned a lot. Good writing, combined with educational value, make this a great read. There is one instance that could be viewed as taking God’s name in vain, but I personally felt it was not.
