Review:
This is another great (but very hard to find) book by Rita Ritche, author of The Golden Hawks of Genghis Kahn.  In this engaging book, the Mongols are out on a hunt when an unknown animal attacks the generals. It is a panda, but they don’t know that. This story follows some young soldiers that embark on an adventurous long journey to Tibet to learn what they can about the animal.
