Review:

Originally written in 1938, Sticks Across the Chimney is set in rural Denmark at the end of the nineteenth century. The book has been slightly updated for the modern reader but features excellent writing. My kids really loved this story. I love the book’s educational value, delightful charm, humor, and wise messages.
