Ten-year-old Willy, a kind and courageous boy, lives with his grandfather on a potato farm. As the story opens, his grandfather loses the will to live. When Willy discovers the reason, he sets out to save both his grandfather and the farm. This wonderful, heartwarming, profound story is based on a Rocky Mountain legend. I suggest reading this book with your child as the ending is beautiful but sad; it may need some discussion.
