Review:

This short chapter book (48 pages with large print) is a cute story about a mole, a mouse, and a shrew that love to serve and visit Old Vole and listen to her exciting and funny stories. I love the gentle messages in the book and the adorable illustrations. Old Vole dies at the end of the book, and I love the beautiful way her death is treated as her friends remember her life with gratitude. The book leaves you feeling happy.
