The Adventures of Sir Lancelot the Great by Gerald Morris

Review:

This is definitely more light and fun reading, but this story features good writing which is humorous and witty. My young children and I listened to the Audible version, and my children loved it. They thought it was hilarious. It’s hard these days to find funny books that are appropriate. There is one part where Lancelot accidentally gets shot in his bum and has to sit on pillows for a while. Some parents may feel that is inappropriate, but I felt it was fine, and there was nothing else questionable. The book tells the story, with some liberties, of Sir Lancelot. There is not really much educational or moral value in the book, but the book has good literary value and promotes creativity and imagination. I have not reviewed the other books in the series.
