This book is a favorite at our house! An old woman in a charming village wants to bake a cake, but she has no apples. She has plums, however—a whole tree of them. She sets out to trade. The cute story takes you on a journey through the village, teaching gentle messages along the way. The illustrations are absolutely wonderful!
