The official description reads: “Master storyteller Robin McKinley here spins two new fairy tales and retells two cherished classics.” McKinley’s writing is very skilled and features a great and varied vocabulary. Although these stories are mainly fun and imaginative, there are some good, indirect moral messages. Many of McKinley’s books contain profanity, but this book uses only clean language.

Note: The Audible and Kindle versions are titled “The Door in the Hedge: And Other Stories.
