Review:

Five stories of young faith written in the 1800s come together in this delightful book. These stories are of the highest moral and literary value, with authors such as Johanna Spyri (Heidi) and Scottish pastor Norman Macleod, whose story “The Gold Thread,” first published in 1861, was extremely popular and stayed in print continuously for nearly 50 years. Now these stories are back in print. These stories are wholesome family classics that can be enjoyed by readers of any age. The beginning of the book also gives interesting background information for each story. Some stories include fantastical elements while others do not.
