Review:

This delightful story, which takes place about 100 years ago, follows Jennifer after her parents have died and she is sent to go live with her bachelor uncle. The story takes a turn when her carriage is held up by bandits, and Jennifer flees and is lost in the wilderness. When Jennifer finally arrives in Ohio to meet her mysterious, prestigious uncle, she finds out that he plans to send her to boarding school. But Jennifer has other plans and tries to win over her uncle’s heart. This is a feel-good, charming little story.
